Explanation
I will now explain the reasoning behind some of these numbers, and why I believe I am where I am. I gave myself high scores on English Skills such as reading and essay writing as I have consistently been able to prove my reading ability and always get high marks in various tests and examinations. I also read a lot at home so I believe this has also contributed to me ranking myself so highly in this section of the self-assessment.

I did not rank myself nearly as high in the Media and Technical Skills section, this is because it has been a long time since I used the professional software such as the Adobe Suite regularly, but I can still remember a lot of the basics in Adobe Photoshop. This is why I gave myself twelve out of the possible twenty-five. I have never used Final Cut Pro as I have never owned a device with the capability to run it, this is why I have given myself one out of five for the "Using Final Cut Pro" category. To improve in this section, I will put time and effort into learning about the software and will also spend time practicing using the technical equipment. This will ensure that I have a better understanding of how they work and how I can use them.

In the final section, Student Skills, I gave myself a 5/5 in punctuality and a 5/5 in attendance. I am rarely late to class and miss very few days each year. However, I only gave myself a score of 2 in the Leadership category, as I am not great at getting my ideas across in an easily understandable way.
Week 3 Review
Explanation
My English Skills have not improved. I believe the reasoning for this is that English has always been one of my strong points, so improving in English Skills such as reading and researching is difficult.

So far, I have not gotten much better at Media/Technical Skills. This is because so far we have only covered the basics, and I already knew how to do the basics in the software, for example in Adobe Premier Pro. I will start to improve more in Premier Pro when we start doing some more complicated edits, as at the moment we have only focussed on cuts, positioning and scale.

For Student Skills, I believe that my Organisation has slightly improved since I have been here. This has allowed me to work more efficiently and effectively.

The skills I most need to improve in the future are leadership and using professional cameras. Improving leadership skills will require me to become more confident, and I believe I will do that naturally as the year goes on.
Motivation
I believe that so far I have been very motivated whilst doing college work. I have tried extremely hard in every task that has been set, both in College and at home.
Commitment
As with motivation, I believe that I have been very committed to my College Work so far this year. I have completed every task to what I feel is a high standard.
Confidence
I am not the most confident person, but I still contribute to class discussions quite regularly. I believe that my confidence will grow more and more throughout the rest of my time at college.
